While only around for a short period of time in the early 2000’s, Officer Jones And His Patrol Car Problems quickly became known for their energetic live shows and particular style of heavy music. Influenced by bands like Botch, Knut and The Dillinger Escape plan, they brought their own mix of frantic riffing, sludgy grooves and loud police sirens to anyone who was willing to cooperate. From dodgy squats in Belgium, to venues all over Europe, to festivals like Groezrock, Fluff Fest (CZ) and Pukkelpop.

OJAHPCP released only one record: “Memorial” (Isclear records/Mashnote records) in 2005 and called it quits not long after. Their members went on to play in Oathbreaker, Wiegedood, Slow Crush, Stoop Kid, Your Highness, Rise and Fall, The Setup, Living Gate and Undercover. 2025 marks the twentieth anniversary of the release of Memorial. To commemorate the occasion, OJAHPCP will return to service once more.
